Voice Aware, is a low-cost, wearable voice monitoring system that consists of an accelerometer (which is attached to the patient’s throat), a custom PCB + lanyard mounted housing, and a mobile app. Voice Aware measures and records the patient’s speech volume and pitch, and then sends haptic alerts when speak too loudly.
